How I collect, use and protect your information when you visit lutfulahmed.com or ask me for a quote.

I'm Lutful Ahmed (devlutful), a freelance WordPress engineer and software strategist based in India. I run lutfulahmed.com and I'm responsible for the personal information collected through it.
You can contact me about privacy at any time: devlutful@gmail.com.
When you use the quote form, I collect:
• your name and email address
• your website address (optional)
• your estimated budget and what you need help with
If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in that email. I don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive personal information.
I use your information only to:
• reply to you and prepare a quote
• review your website if you asked me to
• work with you and keep records if you become a client
I don't sell your information, and I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
I process your information because you asked me to (steps taken at your request before a possible contract), and because I have a legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and running my business.
• Form submissions are saved in this website's database, which is hosted by my web hosting provider.
• A copy of each submission is emailed to my Gmail inbox, which is provided by Google.
• This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and some small flag images from flagcdn.com, so those services may receive your IP address when the page loads.
Your information may be processed outside your country. I only use providers that protect data appropriately.
I keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact. If we work together, I keep project and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask me to delete your information sooner.
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set essential cookies only when an administrator is logged in. If I add analytics in the future, I'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
You can ask me to:
• send you a copy of the information I hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it, or object to how I use it
Email devlutful@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
This site links to Fiverr, Instagram, YouTube and my clients' websites. They have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
